Privacy and terms

What KitchenInch collects when you visit, why, and the terms for using the site. There are no accounts here, and we don’t sell personal information.

Visitor statistics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how visitors find the site. It uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser, and the site that sent you. We look at these statistics only as totals. Google’s use of this information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

The planner, My kitchen and the inch/cm switch

The layout planner and the calculators run in your browser; the measurements you enter aren’t sent to us. Plans you save go to My kitchen, which is stored in your browser on this device only, and your choice of inches or centimeters is remembered the same way. A share link holds the plan in the address itself, so only people you send it to can open it. Clearing your browser’s site data removes everything.

Hosting and security

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Terms of use

The plans, numbers and checks on KitchenInch are general information for planning, provided as is. Building codes are adopted and amended locally, products vary, and plumbing, electrical, gas and structural work needs licensed professionals and often a permit, so check with your local building department and the maker’s instructions before you build or buy. We aren’t responsible for decisions made from the information here. The text, drawings and tools are © 2026 KitchenInch.
